ICT as Communication Tools
We looked at communication tools. These are programs, tools, gadgets, or technologies that make it easier for students to communicate simply with one another within or outside of the classroom, or across the physical boundaries of time and space. A two-way communication process between a sender and a recipient is a communicative tool. Communication tools include social media sites such as blogs, online conference rooms, and email discussion boards. We incorporate classrooms and other communication tools for the following reasons: It facilitates better communication between teachers and students who are leaving. It improved proficiency: Social media allows jobs to be finished more quickly, accurately, and profitably.
Encourage us to converse with others in order to expand our knowledge.
Synchronous communication: sometimes referred to as real-time communication, necessitates multiple users being connected simultaneously. Online video conferencing and Zoom meetings are used in educational activities that require a higher level of participation and to address urgent problems.
Examples include phone calls, video conferences, and online chats.
Asynchronous communication: Users can communicate asynchronously without having to be online at the same time. It takes longer to think through, assess, and reflect on the actions before responding. They can obtain educational resources whenever it is most convenient for them. Pre-recorded videos, discussion boards, emails, text message uploads (chats), Google Classroom, Moodle, and audio and video clips shared on social media sites are a few examples.
